About the team

The New York Yankees are an American professional baseball team based in the New York City borough of the Bronx. The Yankees compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) East division. They are one of two major league clubs based in New York City, the other is the National League (NL)'s New York Mets. The team was founded in 1903 when Frank Farrell and Bill Devery purchased the franchise rights to the defunct Baltimore Orioles (no relation to the current team of the same name) after it ceased operations and used them to establish the New York Highlanders. The Highlanders were officially renamed the New York Yankees in 1913.

This trip includes the following:

• New York Yankees Backpack (Backpack designs may vary.)
• Regular sized hot dog
• Your first drink (a 12 oz. domestic beer* for those 21 years of age or older with a valid ID, Pepsi product or Poland Spring bottled water).
• Round Trip Transportation

The bus will depart from Wurtsboro Park and Ride (2901 US-209, Wurtsboro, NY 12790 ) at 4:00 pm. We are scheduled to arrive at the venue at 6:30 pm. Please note the security screening all attendees will need to pass through below under the screening guidelines section.

We will depart from the venue about 30 minutes after the game.

Basic Information

• Residents of the Town of Fallsburg can ride the bus at a reduced cost.
• Residents opting for a reduced cost bus ride must provide current proof of residence.
• Residents cannot purchase tickets for non Town of Fallsburg residence. The reduced charge bus pricing is intended to benefit Town of Fallsburg NY residents only.
• The ticket purchaser must complete all of the required information (Full Name, Phone number, Address, DOB, and Age).
• Ensure you use a valid current email address and phone number.
• Download the communication app (This will be emailed before the event).
• Tickets cannot be reserved, they are on a first come, first served basis.
• Tickets cannot be transferred or sold to another person without the written permission of the Town of Fallsburg Youth Commissioner.
• There are no refunds.

GUIDELINES

We ask that adults drink responsibly as this is a youth oriented trip. The consumption of alcohol products cannot be allowed on the bus at any time.

This event is made possible by The Town Board of Fallsburg, The Town of Fallsburg Youth Commission, the Sullivan County Youth Bureau, the Sullivan County Legislature and a donation from Rolling V Bus Company.
