Marriage Licenses

Marriage Licenses are issued Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm only.

Please bring three forms of valid identification when you apply for a Marriage License.

Both parties must be present at time of license registration. No exceptions.

There is a 24-hour waiting period from the time you take out your license to the time you may be married.

The license itself is good for 60 days.

Acceptable forms of ID: Current Driver's License, Social Security Number, Current Passport or Current Non-Driver's I.D. No photocopies or faxed documents will be accepted. No exceptions.

Please Note: The Clerk's Office requires a certified birth certificate with a raised seal. If it is in a foreign language, you must have an English translation that also has a certification and raised seal.

Please bring prior Certified Divorce Papers or Certified Death Certificate should either apply.
