Small Claims Cases 

Individuals may sue in Small Claims Court for money only. The monetary limit you may sue for in the Town of Fallsburg Justice Court is $3,000. The mandatory filing fees are as follows: $10 for claims in the amount of $1,000 or less and $15 for claims between $1,001 - $3,000. The Court Clerk's Office will process all paperwork needed for  your claims and will provide a Court date and time for the parties to appear. Please contact the Court Clerk's Office for instructions on how to file. 

In order to file a small claims action, in the Town of Fallsburg Court, against a person or a corporation, the defendant you are suing must be a person or corporation residing or having a place of business within the Town of Fallsburg.
